Users are informed of the fact that this country does not grant adequate protection within the meaning of European Directive 95/46 of October 24, 1995, but that the service provider has adhered to the Safe Harbor system.
The so-called "Safe Harbor" or "Security Sphere" system is based on a voluntary approach by companies established in the United States which self-certify as adhering to a series of principles for the protection of personal data and the protection of Privacy, published by the United States Department of Commerce.
On July 26, 2000, the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision which recognizes that these “Safe Harbor” principles provide adequate protection for the purposes of transfers of personal data from the European Union.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (OS) platform. This platform is available at As a customer, you always have the option of contacting the arbitration board of the European Commission. We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
